Clemson football will host the Duke Blue Devils Saturday night in Death Valley. Here is our pick against the spread for the ACC matchup.

The Clemson football team is ranked No. 2 in the country and is looking to make it back to its fourth-straight College Football Playoff.

The Tigers will host the Duke Blue Devils this Saturday night in Death Valley with a chance to improve to 11-0 and finish the regular season undefeated in conference.

Here is our pick against the spread for Clemson football’s matchup with Duke.

Clemson Football Pick Against the Spread:

Current Spread: Clemson -28

Spread Prediction:

The spread opened up at 27 points and has risen a point in Clemson’s favor to 28. When I look at these two teams, I just don’t see how Duke is going to stop the Tigers. The Blue Devils had trouble stopping North Carolina’s offense last week, giving up several big plays and allowing 35 points to the Tarheels.

If they’re giving up 35 to UNC, I don’t see anyway that Clemson doesn’t score at least in the mid-to-upper 40s and it very well may be the in the 50s or 60s. The Tigers will be focused with it being Senior Day and I think Clemson comes out and gets the job done, taking control of the game early.

I’m taking the Tigers to cover the spread and win by more than 28.

Current Over/Under: 57.5

Over/Under Prediction:

As I said earlier, the Tigers should score a lot of points Saturday. I don’t think Duke will score a lot, but I do think that Daniel Jones will find a way to get the Blue Devils on the board. I believe that the Tigers and Blue Devils go “over” and, depending on what Dabo Swinney wants to do, it may not even be close to the number.

So, to review:

We’re taking Clemson to cover the spread of 28 points and for the game to over the 57.5 number. What do you think, Tiger fans? Comment below!
