10. Tanner Muse

We’ll start this list with a guy that has been quietly much improved.

No one has talked much about the Clemson defense because of how dominant they’ve been. All the storylines have been on the offensive side of the ball- talking about Trevor Lawrence, Kelly Bryant leaving, Travis Etienne’s string of dominant performances.

Even when pundits get around to the defense, it’s always about the defensive line, and for good reason.

But, I think we should realize the improvement of Tanner Muse. Muse has been very consistent since the Texas A&M game and has really improved in pass coverage. He isn’t getting beat over the top as much as last year and should be in great position to maybe come up with an interception or two and make an impact for the Tigers here in the postseason.

Muse is also important because that safety room is so inexperienced. He’ll be a huge part of what Clemson wants to do going forward.
