Clemson Football: 5 Areas the Tigers must improve to win a National Championship

2. Offensive Balance

Part of the offensive balance is on what defenses show you.

There’s no reason to run the ball when a team has eight guys in the box and you have as many talented wide receivers as you do for Clemson.

But, when I say “balance,” I don’t necessarily mean balance in play-calling. What I really mean is offensive efficiency in all areas. I want to see the passing game excel like it has the past two weeks. I want to see the running game come back after being close to nonexistent the past couple of weeks.

I want the offensive line to continue to play better and keep improving as they still have a little ways to go.

The offense is better and it’s clear progressing. But, I still want to see overall improvement and efficiency from every group on that side of the ball.
