Here are the games from around the country that Clemson football fans should be keeping their eye on during College Football Week 8.

Clemson football will host the NC State Wolfpack at 3:30 p.m. today.

While that game will be the biggest of the day for the Tigers, there are several other match ups from around the country that Tiger fans could enjoy and should keep their eyes on.

Let’s take a look at the top priority games from around the country here in College Football week 8.

Noon Slate:

  • #6 Michigan at #24 Michigan State, 12 p.m. (FOX)
  • #9 Oklahoma at TCU, 12 p.m. (ABC)
  • Maryland at #19 Iowa, 12 p.m. (ESPN 2)
  • Auburn at Ole Miss, 12 p.m. (ESPN)
  • North Carolina at Syracuse, 12:20 p.m. (ACC Network)

This is a pretty solid slate for the noon games. Michigan at Michigan State is a nice little match up and I think TCU could give Oklahoma some trouble.

In the ACC, it will be interesting to see if Syracuse can put North Carolina away early.

Afternoon Slate:

  • #16 NC State at #3 Clemson, 3:30 p.m. (ESPN)
  • #1 Alabama at Tennessee, 3:30 p.m. (CBS)
  • Colorado at #15 Washington, 3:30 p.m. (FOX)

Obviously, every Clemson football fan will have their eye on one game and one game only during this time slot: NC State at Clemson.

Bama is going to blow the doors off of Tennessee and that Pac-12 match up with Colorado-Washington could be a fun one.

Evening/Night Slate:

  • #22 Mississippi State at #5 LSU, 7 p.m. (ESPN)
  • #2 Ohio State at Purdue, 7:30 p.m. (ABC)
  • #12 Oregon at #25 Washington State, 7:30 p.m. (FOX)

Most Tiger fans will be flipping back and forth between Mississippi State-LSU and Oregon-Washington State.

If Mississippi State was to knock off LSU, that would take out one more team vying for the College Football Playoff. The only way that Ohio State-Purdue becomes of interest is if the Buckeyes trail late or if the game is close, which it shouldn’t be.
