2. Trevor Lawrence

How could we have a list of “players to watch” and not mention the freshman phenom starting quarterback in Trevor Lawrence?

Clemson will only go as far as Trevor Lawrence is able to take them here in 2018.

That doesn’t mean that Lawrence has to be perfect or put up huge numbers, but he does have to be able to manage this offense, make the right reads and complete passes in big moments.

All eyes will be on him the second half of the season and rightfully so.

If Lawrence plays to his potential, there’s a shot he could earn All-ACC honors as a freshman and finish as a top-10, possibly top-five, quarterback in the nation.
