Clemson Football: 5 players to watch the second half of the season

4. AJ Terrell

Coming into the year, I thought the Tigers would need Trayvon Mullen to become that “Mackensie Alexander-type” player.

While Mullen has been solid, AJ Terrell has really come on as of late.

He made a few mistakes early and was out of position a lot, especially against Texas A&M. But, as of the last couple of games, Terrell has taken some huge steps forward.

In my opinion, you could actually see him assume that role.

I’m really interested to see if Terrell can take the next step and become a shutdown corner. If he can, that Tiger secondary may end up being much better than any would have ever thought.
