Special Teams MVP: BT Potter

Greg Huegel could certainly be considered for this position, but I just think what BT Potter has done as a kickoff specialist is undervalued.

The Tigers have had a really good defense this year, but it certainly helps the defense when they know that the opposing offense will be starting at their own 25-yard line.

Potter has made it basically impossible for kick returners to make any impact on the game, taking that aspect out of the equation.

Explosive kick returns can change momentum, but Potter hasn’t allowed any returners to even be a factor.
