1)When does the adrenaline run out?

This is something I’ve come to see in opponents that play Clemson.

Every single week, especially for teams hosting the Tigers, you can see them come out more juiced than they normally are for another game.

Obviously, every team in America wants to say that they upset the No. 2 in the nation.

However, what I’ve seen time and time again is the inability to control emotions and preserve themselves physically. They come out like a cannon ball attempting to fire on all cylinders. Unfortunately, though, that adrenaline wears off as you get deeper into the game.

As Clemson starts to wear you down, suddenly your legs don’t feel as strong as they did before. All of a sudden, the game goes from being a touchdown apart to 17 points apart.

It happened to Miami. It happened to South Carolina. It happened to Florida State.

Those teams come out jacked up and ready to go, but they can’t play to that level for an entire game. On the other sideline, though, you have a machine in Clemson football that remains poised and calm, all the while wearing you down and methodically beating you.
