5) No balloons on Game Day

For the first time in more than three decades, there won’t be a balloon release when the Tigers run down the hill Saturday.

That’s a storyline no matter which side of the fence you sit on.

The balloons have become a tradition for Clemson football. As a matter of fact, there’s a good portion of the fanbase that wasn’t even born when the Tigers didn’t have balloons.

I’m sure the most exciting 25 seconds in College Football will certainly look different Saturday at about 12:16 p.m. when the Tigers run down the hill.
