5. Historically Great Defensive Line

We’ve gotten through reasons 10-6 and haven’t even mentioned that talented defense.

If Clemson wins a National Championship, it will be in thanks to a historically great defensive line. The Tigers return all four starters from last season, including three (Ferrell, Bryant and Wilkins) that could be playing in the NFL right now.

Outside of the starters, the Tigers have more depth at that unit than any other program in the nation. Albert Huggins, Nyles Pinckney and a plethora of defensive ends back up that starting group.

That’s got to be scary for an opposing offensive line.
