8. More Explosive Plays

Having improved quarterback play and more mature skill position players leads to more explosive plays.

There were times last season where it seemed that the offense just stalled for quarters at a time. That’s because there just wasn’t a big play threat. There were a few guys, like Tavien Feaster or Deon Cain, that could break off a big play.

But Travis Etienne didn’t really get a ton of playing time until later in the year and the same can be said about Tee Higgins.

This season, I think you see the coaching staff open up the playbook and take some shots down the field. I think they’re going to be looking for those big play opportunities.
