3. Michigan State Spartans

Michigan State is one of two teams out of the Big Ten that Clemson could possibly face that would be new to the Tigers.

Clemson played Ohio State, and defeated the Buckeyes 31-0, just a couple of years ago. This season, though, a lot of analysts have picked the Spartans to win that Big Ten East Division.

Michigan State is led by quarterback Brian Lewerke and a talented offensive line, as well as a powerful defense.

I don’t think they have the athletes to compete with Clemson, but it would be a fun and different opponent for the Tigers to play in the first round.
