October 20: vs. NC State Wolfpack

NC State lost the heart and soul of its team when that talented defensive line went onto the NFL.

The Wolfpack still have some pieces, though, to be a solid team.

Quarterback Ryan Finley returns with one of the top wide receiver corps in not just the ACC, but in the country.

NC State will certainly be relying on its offense in 2018, but I think the Wolfpack have a chance to still be solid defensively even with them having to replace eight starters.

Overall, though, Clemson should be able to handle its business and come away with the win.

Prediction: Clemson 34, NC State 21
