October 6: @ Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Wake Forest, coached by Dave Clawson, has gotten better over the past few years.

The Demon Deacons beat Texas A&M in the Belk Bowl last year and are looking to build off of that momentum this coming season.

Wake Forest has a veteran offensive line and an explosive play maker in Greg Dortch.

This could be the first match up marked as a “trap game” for Clemson on the season. I think Wake Forest puts up more of a challenge than most would think, but the Tigers still come away with the victory.

Prediction: Clemson 31, Wake Forest 14
