November 3: vs. Louisville Cardinals

The Tigers begin their 2018 November slate with a home game against the Louisville Cardinals.

Louisville will be replacing the best player in its program’s history in Lamar Jackson. Jawon Pass, the new quarterback, will have a very good receiving corp to throw to and Bobby Petrino said he believes this offense could be better than last year’s.

The Cardinals are in transition defensively with Brian VanGorder stepping in as new Defensive Coordinator.

I think Louisville is able to keep it close for a while, especially if the Cardinals’ wide receivers can take advantage of Clemson’s secondary, but the Tigers are able to score some points and pick up the victory.

Prediction: Clemson 45, Louisville 21
