10. J.D. Davis

Your starter at WLB in 2018 will be J.D. Davis, at least according to the Clemson football preseason depth chart.

Davis will be relied upon for big snaps this season. As a veteran, he is also going to be relied upon to be a leader.

If he can provide a solid leadership and do his job as a linebacker, Davis could be a huge X-Factor for this Clemson defense. The Tigers have a very deep linebacking corp and it’s clear to me that he will be an important part of that.

I really like J.D. Davis’s skillset and what he has become over the past few years. Look for him to step up big and be a bigger part of the defense than most expect.
