4. Kendall Joseph

Kendall Joseph is the unquestioned leader of the linebackers.

He is the “quarterback of the defense.” Joseph is the guy that relays plays in and tells guys where to move to be in position.

He is going to be counted on to read offenses and be solid on the defensive front. More than that, though, Joseph will be counted on to be a leader.

Joseph played this role last season on Clemson’s defense, so he certainly already has plenty of experience. I think that experience is partly why he is seeing time at the MIKE position.
