2. Freshmen make more impact than normal

You always hear of a freshman or two making an impact in fall camp, but this year’s going to be different.

I think we’re in for a preseason camp where several freshmen get mentioned when coaches talk about star performers from practice.

Guys like Trevor Lawrence, Derion Kendrick, Jackson Carman, Mike Jones Jr., Xavier Thomas, KJ Henry, Braden Galloway, Justyn Ross and a few others have a real chance to earn quality playing time in 2018.

This year, I think we see freshmen move up the depth chart.

I’m not saying that we will see any of them starting Game 1, but we will see plenty of them playing early and often.
