3. Defensive Backfield

The defensive backfield, in my opinion, is extremely intriguing heading into the 2018 season.

Clemson lost some guys off of last year’s team including Marcus Edmond, Ryan Carter and Van Smith.

While there is plenty of talent and experience to replace those guys, the Tigers will need to develop some depth here in the preseason. I’m very excited to see Trayvon Mullen, AJ Terrell, K’Von Wallace, Tanner Muse and Mark Fields.

I think there’s potential for this group to be very good. But, for them to reach their potential, they’re going to need to step up and stay healthy.
