Clemson Football: Ranking the Tigers’ 2018 Opponents by Difficulty
8. @ Wake Forest Demon Deacons
Our first road game finally makes the list at No. 8.
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons will host Clemson on October 6, a week after the Tigers play Syracuse to close out the September schedule.
Wake Forest will be replacing quarterback John Wolford, who graduated, and they also lost their best wide receiver- Tabari Hines- due to transfer.
The Demon Deacons do have some talent and experience along the lines of scrimmage, which will be important for them as they attempt to make a third-straight bowl game.
I really like Dave Clawson and I think Wake Forest could keep this game close for a while, but eventually Clemson’s depth will win out.
