10. vs. Syracuse Orange

I really believe that Syracuse could take a step forward this season after going just 4-8 in 2017.

The Orange are led by quarterback Eric Dungey, who is one of the best in the conference. Dino Babers likes to run that up-tempo spread-offense and that will bode well for Syracuse this season, even with them having to replace a couple of wide receivers from last year.

Defensively, I think they can only get better after giving up more than 30 points per game in 2017.

Unfortunately for the Orange, though, they beat Clemson last season. It was about as fluky as it comes, very fitting for a Friday the 13th outing. However, I just don’t see the Tigers losing to Syracuse, or even playing a close game with them, a second year.

Clemson will be focused for this one and it just won’t be close.
