1.@ Boston College Eagles

The toughest game for Clemson football in 2018 may very well be the road trip to Boston College in mid-November.

The Eagles are led by All-American running back AJ Dillon. Dillon has a deep and experienced offensive line to run behind and quarterback Anthony Brown had a solid freshman campaign before suffering an injury last season.

Boston College has a strong front-seven, led by defensive end Zach Allen.

In my opinion, the Eagles are poised to take huge strides in 2018 and finish second in the ACC Atlantic Division. They are as talented and as deep as they have ever been.

This is the game that many analysts have pinpointed as the “trap game” for Clemson in 2018 and I definitely believe that Boston College could put up a fight. When you look at the two teams, though, it’s clear that the Tigers are still more talented and deeper.
