Clemson Football: Ferrell says Clemson is more than football, it’s home
The culture within the Clemson football program is special. Clelin Ferrell shared his thoughts on that with ESPN’s College GameDay crew.
The culture created within the Clemson football program is unlike anything anyone else has ever seen.
Players legitimately enjoy their time in Tiger Town and are disappointed when it comes to an end.
For some, they postpone the ending of it by choosing to come back to school.
That’s exactly what Christian Wilkins, Kendall Joseph, Austin Bryant and Clelin Ferrell did.
The four Clemson football players made a decision to forego the NFL Draft for another season of College Football, something that you just don’t see now a’ days.
There’s No Place Like Home…
Clemson Defensive End Clelin Ferrell was on the set of ESPN’s College GameDay and he was asked one simple question: What makes the Clemson football program special?
Ferrell said that Clemson was like home.
He said that he had no regrets and didn’t feel like he was coming back to school, but rather was coming back home.
Hearing Clelin Ferrell talk about his experience with Clemson is absolutely amazing. It really shows just how great of a time they have in Tiger Town. Dabo Swinney has done a better job than anyone in the nation stressing that “Best is the Standard,” but that fun is also an important part of the College Football experience.
That perfect balance has been what has made the Clemson football program so special.
The Tigers were really fortunate to have Ferrell, Wilkins, Joseph and Bryant return for another season. With them returning, Clemson has one of the best chances in the nation at winning the National Championship. The Tigers are the heavy favorites to win the ACC, as well.
