24. Dorian O’Daniel

Some of you probably wonder how Dorian O’Daniel appears so high on this list.

I don’t think we will truly appreciate what O’Daniel did last season until this season comes. While we talked a lot about guys like Christian Wilkins, Dexter Lawrence, Clelin Ferrell and others off of last years’ defense, Dorian O’Daniel was the guy that made it all happen.

He was excellent in pass-coverage and did a great in stopping the run.

Versatility made him such a great player. Honestly, I think the Kansas City Chiefs got a steal, taking him in the mid-rounds.

O’Daniel finished his career with 227 tackles and ranked second in all-time games played. He was also a finalist for the Butkus Award.
