21. Jayron Kearse

Talent-wise, Jayron Kearse is one of the best safeties to ever play for Clemson.

Kearse had tons of athleticism and was just a natural for the position. He was truly able to pick up blown assignments and play well in pass-coverage, as well as come up and stop the run.

As a junior, Kearse reached first-team All-American status, prompting him to leave early for the NFL Draft.

A lot of people believe that he had one eye on the NFL his entire junior season, but that didn’t stop him from earning a ton of accolades and becoming a part of that Clemson football team that reached the College Football Playoff for the first time in school history and came up just short in the National Championship game.
