The 2018 Clemson football All-In Cookout is just a few days away. Here’s the latest on the annual event and what Tiger fans can expect.

The 2018 Clemson football All-In Cookout is set to take place this Friday, July 27.

The annual cookout is the biggest recruiting event of the year and usually features a plethora of talented athletes from all over the country.

The cookout gives recruits a chance to come and hang out with Clemson football commitments, hear more about the program and get a feel for how they would fit in.

It has been a very fruitful event over the years, leading to many commitments during the cookout, as well as ones that stemmed off of it later.

2018 All-In Cookout Early Thoughts:

We’re still a few days away, so many recruits haven’t yet announced what they plan to do.

As far as uncommitted recruits are concerned, 5-star CB Andrew Booth, 4-star WR Joey Ngata and 4-star LB Vonta Bentley are all planning to be in attendance.

There will be other guys coming as well, including most, if not all of the 2019 Clemson football commits.

I really think the Tigers have a great shot at all three of those guys listed above. Vonta Bentley, the Alabama linebacker, is nearing a decision and, who knows, maybe one comes at the All-In Cookout.

Even if Clemson doesn’t get a commitment directly from the cookout, the event is still important. One of those guys may not commit right on the spot, but the relationships they build and impressions that they got will later come back into play as they make their decision.
