1.Kelly Bryant, Trevor Lawrence will play

Nothing newsworthy as far as the QB competition is concerned was revealed at the Golf Outing.

Here’s what we know:

  • Kelly Bryant is the starter, but Trevor Lawrence is right on his heels
  • Both guys will play
  • Even if Lawrence beats out Bryant, Bryant will still play in some respect
  • Trevor Lawrence is not going to redshirt, barring injury
  • We’re going to see both of these guys get their chance in real games
  • Chase Brice is also really good

That’s where we stand as far as the QB competition is concerned. The coaches really like both guys and I think they’re going to try and play both of them.

Bryant will go out and get his opportunity first, but we will still see plenty of the freshman.
