2. The Defensive Line is Legit

Now, here’s a takeaway you didn’t need a Golf Outing to let you know about.

The Clemson defensive line is as deep and as talented as it has ever been. Of course people rave about Clelin Ferrell, Austin Bryant, Dexter Lawrence and Christian Wilkins. But what we heard yesterday just makes me that much more excited to see this group on the field.

The coaching staff believe that Dexter Lawrence will be 100 percent healthy.

They also believe, and I agree, that Albert Huggins is an NFL-caliber player.

In addition to all those guys, true-freshman KJ Henry is up to 250 pounds. When he first came to Clemson, he was weighing about 235.

I’m really looking forward to seeing this group in action. They are going to be too much for any offensive line to handle. This unit is deep, talented and hungry. That’s a lethal combination.
