2. Veteran Returners On Defense

A lot of questions from the media will be centered on the return of a number of veterans.

Christian Wilkins, Clelin Ferrell, Kendall Joseph, Mitch Hyatt and Austin Bryant, to be exact. I mean, think about it, what would the outlook of the 2018 Clemson football season be without these guys returning?

Of course we would still expect a College Football Playoff appearance. But, we’d be asking questions like how will Albert Huggins step into the role of anchoring that defensive line. We’d be asking about the defensive end competition.

These guys really mean a lot to Clemson football and it’s only fair to give Dabo Swinney his time to recognize them.
