1.Kendall Joseph

To me, maybe the No. 1 most underappreciated guy for Clemson football is Kendall Joseph.

Joseph gets accolades.

He gets talked about, but not to the extent that he should be.

Joseph isn’t just a talented linebacker, he is the leader- the quarterback- of that defense.

There’s a reason Brent Venables and Dabo Swinney made the decision to move him the middle linebacker. While we all are impressed with Tre Lamar or Isaiah Simmons at linebacker, we definitely shouldn’t forget about Kendall Joseph.

With Joseph, that defense loses a dynamic playmaker who has the ability to stop the run and do a solid job in pass coverage.

Let’s never forget to take time to recognize these guys who have been hard at work. Their names may not be called as much as others, but they will certainly play an important part in Clemson’s journey to a National Championship in 2018.
