J.D. Davis

Now, here’s a guy that is overshadowed not by his own teammates, but by his father.

Everyone loves Clemson football legend Jeff Davis.

Unfortunately, though, people think that his sons were only given scholarships because of their relations with their father.

That’s just not true.

Both J.D. and Judah can play football. J.D. is currently listed as a starter at that weakside-linebacker (WLB) spot. And that’s not an accident.

Davis is a headhunter and has the ability to do a really solid job for the Tigers. He won’t be talked about as much as some of the other guys along that front-seven, but you can rest assured that he will be consistent and give solid play from that WLB position.
