4. Mike Jones Jr.

One freshman that doesn’t get near enough credit is linebacker Mike Jones Jr.

Jones Jr. arrived in Clemson as an early enrollee. He’s currently listed third on the SLB depth chart behind Isaiah Simmons and Jalen Williams.

Would you believe that Jones Jr. could end up surpassing Williams before this season is over?

I really love his ability to cover the entire field.

He is able to cover really speedy wide receivers and then also find his way in the backfield. I would love to Jones Jr. in on special blitz packages.

Before this season is over, you will see a healthy dose of him and I think you’ll like what you have to see.
