Clemson Football: 5 Emerging Stars for the 2018 Season
1. Tee Higgins
To me, Tee Higgins is the biggest emerging star for this upcoming season.
Travis Etienne, in my opinion, already became a star last year, but his sophomore counterpart was just scratching the surface when 2017 ended.
Higgins shared time with Deon Cain and Diondre Overton last season. In the Alabama game, the Tigers were going to showcase him, but he was injured early and wasn’t able to return.
This season, Higgins will not only be the starter at the boundary position, he is going to be the best wide receiver on the roster.
In my opinion, Higgins has the ability to become an All-ACC wide receiver before this season is over and, without a doubt will be an emerging star this year.

He has a great chance to lead the Tigers in receiving yardage and touchdowns. He will be a guy that analysts say is a “deep threat” and I’d expect him to show up on just about every scout or analyst’s “key players list” when they take a look at the Clemson offense.
