5. Syracuse Orange

When: Saturday, September 30th

Game Designation: Hall of Fame Day

I really like Eric Dungey. This Syracuse offense was pretty solid last season and they’ll continue to take steps forward this season.

Unfortunately for the Orange, they beat Clemson last season.

That means the Tigers will be out for revenge early and often. Syracuse’s defense was able to limit Clemson offensively last season without Kelly Bryant, but I don’t think that will be the case this season.

I believe that this may be one of the biggest blowouts of the season for the Tigers.

They’ll be focused and they’ll be dialed in. Syracuse just doesn’t have the talent or the athletes to compete with a Clemson football team that is fully focused.

This one won’t be close, but the bright side will be the fact that this game screams “3:30 p.m. kickoff.”
