4. Veteran Leadership

This team is not like last year’s team.

Last year’s team was young and the upperclassmen were more focused on their NFL careers rather than winning a National Championship.

At times, it seemed that they were just going through the motions, especially offensively.

With that being said, I think the veterans this year have a different attitude.

Christian Wilkins, Austin Bryant, and Clelin Ferrell didn’t return just to improve their NFL Draft stock. They want a National Championship.

That means that they are going to be focused and ready to go. They will lead and teach the younger guys.

Also, having veteran leadership helps when a game comes down to the wire or if you’re in a hostile environment. Those guys have been there and can take control and make plays when you need them to.
