Clemson Football: 10 Reasons the Tigers Go Undefeated in 2018
7. The Rushing Attack
One area that doesn’t get near enough coverage for this 2018 Clemson football team is the rushing attack.
Clemson boasts two really good running backs and one elite back. Travis Etienne leads the Tigers’ rushing attack as a returning sophomore, but he is also backed up by Tavien Feaster, a former 5-star, and Adam Choice, a former 4-star.
Both Feaster and Choice were starters for Clemson at some point in their careers and have talent to do some really good things for the Tigers.
Etienne, as I just said, is elite. I think he has the talent to be a first-team All-ACC running back and be considered one of the best running backs in the nation before this season is over.
You also can’t leave out the fact that Kelly Bryant will play some role in the rushing game, even if he’s not the starting quarterback.
Combine all those things and you have something special that opposing Defensive Coordinators will stay awake at night trying to find a way to slow them down.
