2. Trevor Lawrence beats out Kelly Bryant

Now, here’s the one you’ve been waiting for.

Everyone loves talking about the freshman QB Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence showed up and showed out in the spring game and has taken the heart of most of the Clemson football faithful with him.

I believe that Lawrence will, indeed, unseat Kelly Bryant at some point this season.

As a matter of fact, I’ll put a date on it. I think Lawrence is the starting QB by mid-October. By the time the Tigers play NC State, he’ll be your main QB.

That doesn’t mean we won’t still see a healthy dose of Kelly Bryant.

I think Bryant maintains an important role on this team all season, but I do believe that it will be Lawrence’s position by the middle of this fall.

He’s just too good not to play and I just believe Lawrence will force the coaching staff’s hand at some point midseason.
