Clemson Football: 5 Reasons Alcohol Shouldn’t Be Sold At Games
1.Family atmosphere
Clemson, unlike many other colleges, prides itself on a “family atmosphere.”
There are many kids that are on campus and sometimes that means making a sacrifice. Now, I’m not saying you can’t have a family atmosphere with alcohol.
What I’m saying is that a few bad eggs can make the atmosphere go from “family friendly” to scary and unsafe.
Bad eggs can happen anywhere. It really has nothing to do with alcohol sales. But, I think Clemson at this point doesn’t want to be an instigator in creating them.
Right now, I think the University wants to keep its hand out of it and just keep the decision up to the fans. That means that fans can bring their own, but not have it during the game. It may seem restricting to some and it may seem like too much to others.
