October 27, 2018: @ Florida State

If you’re wanting to get out to the most competitive road game, this is probably it. While one could make an argument for Boston College or Texas A&M early in the year, I think that the Seminoles will probably provide the toughest test for the Tigers.

This game, in all likelihood, will be an 8 p.m. kickoff.

I’d imagine that Florida State comes into the game ranked somewhere in the 20’s and they’ll be looking to end Clemson’s College Football Playoff hopes.

If football is your sole purpose for a weekend get-away, this is probably the game for you. Tallahassee has some great sights to take in, as well, but I’d say that most Tiger fans will be going to this one because of the atmosphere and the competitiveness of this rivalry.

Even in years where a team has dominated, there have been very few blowouts in this series. People like to forget that it was actually 17-14 with just over eight minutes left in the game last season before the Tigers turned it on and came away with a 31-14 win.
