November 10, 2018: @ Boston College

Boston College is a trip for the fan that wants to get out and do a little more than just watch a football game.

While I expect this game to be competitive, this trip presents much more than just a great football match up. Boston College, by this point in the year, will be ranked in my opinion.

Outside of football, though, is the great sights that you will be able to take in during a mid-November weekend in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

If you’re a “history buff,” this could be the trip for you.

There are plenty of historical sights in Boston including Paul Revere’s house, the Bunker Hill Monument, and much more. Salem and Plymouth are both less than an hour drive, as well, if you’re interested in the colonial period.

I’d recommend heading up on a Thursday, if possible, and staying throughout the weekend. You’d have Friday to take in some sights, Saturday for football, and then Sunday to finish up any more sight-seeing and travel home.
