5. Faatui Tuitele, 5-star DT

Let’s start with what may be the trendiest prospect of the group.

5-star defensive tackle Faatui Tuitele announced his top five a few weeks ago and had Clemson football among the leaders.

He listed Alabama, Ohio State, Texas, and Washington.

I’d imagine that the 5-star DT will take official visits to all five schools this coming fall. Right now, Alabama and Ohio State seem to be the favorites for his services.

Many recruiting analysts as of late have started to consider Clemson a threat to win his services.

Right now, I would say that this would be a major snag for the Tigers. For Clemson to get him, they’re going to need to him and his mother on campus soon. If they can do that, they have a chance.

The Clemson football brand and atmosphere speaks for itself. Tuitele would be a very talented and needed commitment for this Tiger class that will be looking to replace some talented defensive tackles from this year’s team.
