1. Beautiful storyline

Believe it or not, the No. 1 reason that Trevor Lawrence could win the Heisman if gets the starting QB job early is because it’s a good storyline.

If Lawrence is rewarded the starting position, it will be all over ESPN.

Anyone that follows College Football at all will know the name “Trevor Lawrence.” He will be looked at under a microscope and will be on the biggest stages in the country.

When he succeeds, he will get votes.

People are suckers for a good storyline. A 5-star freshman with great hair coming in and leading his team to a College Football Playoff berth is just that. Especially if he does it in dominant fashion.  Let’s also not forgot that he would be the first true-freshman to ever win the award.

It’s just beautiful, to say the least.

People tend to like Clemson and I think Lawrence is going to be really easy to like. His personality, along with his talent and all of these outside intangibles will make for an interesting Heisman race if he were to win the starting job early.
