Clemson Football: 5 Biggest Question Marks heading into the summer

3. The offensive line’s progression

There have been some interesting moves on the offensive line, according to the depth chart.

While Mitch Hyatt remains cemented in that left tackle spot, we have John Simpson starting at left guard and Sean Pollard starting at right guard. Pollard played right tackle both of his underclassmen years and it’s intriguing that the coaches would choose to move him inside as a junior.

Tremayne Anchrum, who has struggled at times, is listed as the starter at right tackle and then Justin Falcinelli is listed as the starter at center.

I’m really intrigued to see how this group progresses. Last season, the offensive line was extremely inconsistent and it showed against Alabama.

Will this group be more physical? Will there be more depth with the additions of Jackson Carman, Blake Vinson, and other guys? Will the inexperienced players step up?

These are all questions that require answers heading into the summer for the 2018 Clemson football team.
