4. The kicker position

There is plenty of talent at kicker.

The Tigers right now have Alex Spence and Greg Huegel as co-starters. I think they’re listed as co-starters, for the most part, because Huegel is still recovering from that injury.

In addition to those two placekickers, BT Potter- the nation’s No. 1 kicker in the Class of 2019- will step on campus in just a few weeks.

The question isn’t necessarily if these guys will perform, but who will be the kicker. Who will win the spot?

I know that we’ve seen both Spence and Huegel struggle at times during their career. Will they get over it? Will BT Potter step in and put his name in the pot for a starting position?

The kicker is one of the most important positions on the field and it will be important that whichever guy takes the field is able to consistently be successful on field goals and extra points.
