2013: Home win over Georgia

To get to this game, you have to skip forward a few years.

Clemson football came into the 2013 season hyped as one of the top-five teams in the nation. So did Georgia.

There was all kinds of national hype for the season-opener between the Tigers and the Bulldogs in a game that was placed in the primetime spot in front of a sold out Death Valley crowd.

This win featured almost an almost seven-minute commercial for Clemson football.

As more than 100,000 were in Clemson that night and as millions watched around the nation, Clemson was the spotlight of all that attention.

The win that night proved to many national pundits that the Clemson football brand wasn’t going anywhere and that the “Paw” was going to be a prominent highlight in College Football for quite some time.
