Clemson Football: 5 neutral site match ups the Tigers should schedule

2. Florida Gators (Atlanta or Jacksonville)

Heading back to the SEC East, I’d love to see Clemson football schedule the Florida Gators in a neutral site matchup.

The Gators are historically a great program and by the time these two teams would play, I think there’s a shot that Florida would be back to some kind of prominence.

Clemson and Florida have only played 13 times in history and the last time was in 1961. That’s right, Tiger fans. It has been almost 60 years since the two programs have played in football.

Playing the game in Jacksonville probably isn’t an option. That would in no way be a neutral site game, but the two teams could play in Atlanta for a Chick-fil-A kickoff Classic.

That would be a lot of fun and, just like the Georgia game, it’d be a sellout.
