Clemson Football: 5 neutral site match ups the Tigers should schedule

3. Texas Longhorns (New Orleans)

Clemson and Texas have never met on the football field.

With that being said, I believe that the two historical programs, despite trending in opposite ways this past decade, would create a great atmosphere.

The midway point between the two schools may be New Orleans, a place that Tiger fans became familiar with last year.

Texas would be a big name, no matter how good they actually are, and it would create history, which is always fun.

I’d love to see the Longhorns on the schedule and this would give Tiger fans something different than they’ve ever seen before.
