Clemson football defensive back K’Von Wallace took to Twitter to have a little fun at the expense of Tiger nation on April Fool’s Day yesterday.

Clemson football defensive back K’Von Wallace is quite the jokester, apparently.

Yesterday, many Tiger fans felt their heart drop when they read Wallace’s Tweet on April Fool’s Day.

Interestingly enough, in the age of only wanting to read 140 characters or less, many people would look past the bottom “Ps: April fools.”

As Tiger fans read it throughout the day, more and more fell for the prank, including Clemson basketball forward Elijah Thomas.

Props to you

I have to give major props to K’Von Wallace. When I first read the first two lines of the Tweet on my phone, I actually went to pull out my laptop to write a post.

It wasn’t until reading the end that I breathed a sigh of relief and continued to enjoy my Easter Sunday.

He did a great job on April Fool’s Day, judging by the actions of many Tiger fans.

This coming year, Wallace will be an important part of that Clemson football secondary. He will be the starter at that strong safety spot and we could even see him be cross-trained at another position- like nickel- for the 2018 season.

He will also be counted on to be a leader in what is a relatively young defensive backfield.

This is the year, in my opinion, that we see a great emergence of K’Von Wallace. The guy has the talent to be an NFL-caliber player and this is the year that he begins to make strides toward becoming that player.
