1. Peaking at the right time

This is the greatest and most important reason.

The Tigers are playing their best basketball right now. They are peaking at the right time.

They completely destroyed Auburn and that is the kind of basketball you need to be playing here in March.

We see teams all the time dominate during the regular season, but then can’t follow it up in March. Clemson seems to be saving its best basketball for now.

That is why I think you should favor the Tigers.

If you want a reason to hope for a Clemson basketball National Championship, it’s simply the fact that everything seems to be coming together at the right time.

The starters are playing well. You have role players, like David Scara, Mark Donnal, and Aamir Simms playing at a high level. The leadership is good and the guys are hungry.

The odds are certainly slim, but when you get to the Sweet 16, anything can happen and that’s what makes March so special.
