4. Familiarity of opponents in Elite 8 round

If Clemson can find a way to beat Kansas in the Sweet 16, which will be extremely tough, the Tigers will face a familiar opponent in the Elite 8.

Clemson will face the winner of Duke and Syracuse- both of which play interesting zones.

If the Tigers beat Kansas, that means they are shooting well.

So, stick with me for a second. To beat a zone, you have to have good shooting. That’s exactly what the Tigers would have when the faced the Blue Devils or the Orange in the Elite 8.

That familiarity, alongside the fact that Clemson would be seeking revenge against either of the teams, bodes well for the Tigers.

I know Duke is playing well, but so is Clemson. In the end, I think that familiarity would be a great reason to take the Tigers into the Final Four.
